Karen Tiambeng

Karen Tiambeng is Tractive’s Director of Process Management, bringing both technical expertise and genuine pet parent experience to everything she does. With a Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communications Engineering and a career spanning academics, telecommunications, IT, and media industries, Karen joined Tractive in 2018—drawn by her lifelong love of animals and a passion for creating solutions that truly help pet parents. As former VP of Product, she’s overseen Product, Communications, and Design teams, aligning mobile, hardware, and web platforms to create seamless experiences that keep pets safe and their humans happy.

Originally from the Philippines, Karen spent 13 unforgettable years with her beloved dogs Mozzie and Nuggets before welcoming Sushi into her life—a resilient 12-year-old blind (and likely deaf) pup who reminds her daily why accessible, reliable pet tech matters. When she’s not working to improve the lives of pets and their parents, she’s navigating the beautiful chaos of raising a toddler and reflecting on the unique blend of joy and mischief that comes with life alongside dogs.
