At Tractive we believe in only offering products and services that provide the best value to our customers. As such we only sell Lifetime insurance policies which are designed to provide quality cover for your pet over the course of their whole lifetime.

We have 3 levels of cover available:
– Walk which provides a vet fee limit of £3k in total for all claims for the year
– Run which provides a vet fee limit of £6k in total for all claims for the year
– Roam which provides a vet fee limit of £9k in total for all claims for the year

In short, no! For ultimate peace of mind we strongly encourage you to have both Tractive pet insurance and a Tractive GPS tracker (all insurance policies come with a Tractive GPS gift!), but you can still buy our pet insurance without a tracker, and vice versa.

All Tractive pet insurance customers get free unlimited access to a 24/7 video vet service run by experts at FirstVet. Shortly after your policy starts we will send you an email with details about how to sign up to this free service and access the First Vet app. Appointments are generally available within 30 minutes and you can do it all from the comfort of your own home. Save yourself and any nervous pet patients a trip to the vet’s clinic!

It’s really easy to switch to Tractive insurance, simply get a quote and then follow the instructions to buy your policy. After you’ve bought your Tractive policy you’ll need to contact your existing provider to cancel with them. Take care to avoid any gap between the two policies to ensure your furry friend is always covered!
Please check the cancellation terms with your current insurer as in certain circumstances you may not get back your unused premium.

With Tractive insurance, you are free to choose whichever vet surgery you wish to get your buddy the help they need.
