Your territory
As part of our Data team, you will:
Own Tractive's end-to-end tracking across Android, iOS, and Web, ensuring that core product experiences are measured in a way teams can rely on
Maintain and evolve our tracking plans and event taxonomy, keeping production tracking well-documented, consistently structured, and versioned - collaborating closely with fellow Digital Analytics Specialists to align on standards
Ensure data integrity across all platforms, with data collected effectively, consistently, and in full compliance with GDPR
Define and implement metrics that directly inform business decisions across Product and Marketing
Serve as the interface between business requirements and engineering by translating needs into precise, actionable Jira tickets while proactively managing stakeholder communication
Lead tracking quality assurance across Android, iOs and Web - maintaining naming conventions, versioning, and ensuring A/B test environments are correctly instrumented
Implement and maintain tracking via Google Tag Manager and Server-Side Tagging, covering event instrumentation, production debugging, and reliable data collection
Own marketing measurement: pixel implementation, UTM frameworks, and campaign attribution across paid and organic channels

Your profile
Key requirements:
5+ years in a Product Analytics, Tracking, or comparable role, with a proven track record of building and managing Web and App tracking plans
Advanced proficiency in GTM and Server-Side Tagging, including SST architecture, consent framework integration, and tracking stability across release cycles
Hands-on experience with Firebase, GA4, Adobe Analytics, or equivalent event-based platforms across iOS and Android
Strong SQL skills with BigQuery, Redshift, or Snowflake; dbt or Dataform experience is a significant advantage
Proven JavaScript experience in production - data layer management, custom event implementation, and browser-side debugging
A technical mindset: comfortable reading code and collaborating directly with engineers on implementation details
QA experience across iOS, Android, and Web, with an understanding of unit testing principles
Practical experience applying GDPR requirements in a tracking context
Strong cross-functional communication skills — equally effective with developers and senior stakeholders
Very good English skills
Valid Austrian work permit
