Linz, Austria / Uelzen, Germany, March 2026 – Today, Uelzener Versicherungen, one of Germany’s most established pet insurers, and Tractive, the world’s leading provider of GPS and Health Monitoring for dogs and cats, announced a new partnership to support early detection and preventive health care for pets across Germany. 

Starting in March 2026, eligible Uelzener customers can receive reimbursement for their Tractive subscription costs once per year.

By covering the subscription costs, Uelzener will enable significantly more pet owners in Germany to gain access to reliable GPS tracking and daily (data-based) health insights for their animals. 

This approach sets a new standard for how insurance and technology can work together to prioritize preventive care. By leveraging Tractive’s health features, including Health Alerts and monitoring resting heart and respiratory rates, Uelzener aims to help pet parents detect potential health issues earlier and seek treatment sooner. The ultimate goal: healthier pets, fewer incidents, and a shift toward proactive pet care.
