Pasching, Austria / Barcelona, Spain, February 6, 2026 – Following their strategic partnership announced in December 2025, Musky, the Spanish insurtech specializing in veterinary insurance for pets, and Tractive, the global leader in pet health monitoring and GPS tracking for dogs and cats, today announced the next step in their partnership: Musky customers can now receive Tractive devices for free and get their Tractive subscription costs reimbursed once per year when the customer pays for their pet insurance policy annually, setting a new benchmark for preventive pet care at scale.

This new model is designed to help pet parents spot potential issues earlier and act sooner. Tractive’s health monitoring can provide early warning signs that may indicate changes in a pet’s behavior and well-being worth checking, supporting preventive care and timely treatment. For insurers, the approach strengthens pet wellness while improving the economics of insurance through earlier intervention and fewer severe outcomes over time.

A new kind of insurance benefit: always-on preventive care

Starting today, Musky customers can:

  • Get a Tractive device at no cost, and
  • Receive an annual reimbursement for the full Tractive subscription price, for both Basic and Premium subscription plans when the customer pays for their pet insurance policy annually. 

With Tractive, pet owners can monitor daily well-being insights, such as activity and sleep, and, for dogs, vital signs including heart rate and respiratory rate. They will also receive proactive health alerts designed to prompt early action when something may be off.
