Tractive is the most trusted name for keeping cats and dogs safe and healthy. The secret to our success? A team of truly unique individuals who care about each other just as much as going the extra mile for pet parents. Want to be part of our story? Check out this role and see if you’re a good match!
Your territory
As part of our Data team, you will:
Shape the next generation of Tractive’s activity, safety and health features, used by pet parents worldwide. Your work will deliver real-world impact at scale and help redefine what pet health technology can do.
Turn data into product: Translate user needs into concrete features - like our scratch monitoring model - and own the journey from raw concept and prototyping to shipping code into production.
Access a massive data playground: Train and validate your models at a scale few companies can offer.
Engineer for the real world: It’s not enough for a model to work in a notebook. You build scalable, robust algorithms that remain reliable in a live environment.
Accelerate development with AI: Leverage and integrate modern AI development tools (e.g. Cursor, Claude Code) and protocols like MCP to accelerate development and stay at the forefront of the industry.
Mentor and shape culture: As a senior, you mentor the team, share best practices, and foster a culture of learning and collaboration.
Drive excellence: Ensure high-quality code through rigorous reviews, testing and a strong focus on long-term maintainability.
Bring in your fresh ideasto make Tractive better - you’ll never hear the phrase “...because that’s how we’ve always done things”.
Continuously grow personally and professionally, take ownership of areas that show your potential, and attend workshops which help you get to the next level.
