Your territory
As part of our Firmware team, you will:
Lead exploratory R&D projects - from idea, feasibility and validation to functional prototypes
Develop and implement firmware in C/C++ to test and iterate on new product concepts
Experiment with edge AI, low-power IoT, GPS, Cellular, BLE and sensor technologies
Collaborate with Firmware, Hardware and Data Science teams to validate promising approaches
Support a team of professional Firmware developers in writing production-grade code when needed, especially during transition phases
Define clear success criteria, analyze data from lab and field tests and decide when to deepen or stop an approach
Own your topics with a high degree of autonomy and responsibility while keeping stakeholders aligned through clear communication

Your profile
Key requirements:
5+ years of professional experience in embedded firmware development with C/C++
Strong embedded systems engineering background, including microcontrollers, sensors and connectivity modules
Programming skills in Python (e.g. pandas, Matplotlib, NumPy) for data analysis and tooling
Proven experience bringing prototypes or features from R&D into production
Research competence in areas like AI on embedded devices, sensor fusion or similar advanced topics is a plus
Very good English skills
