Software Tester

Your territory

As part of our Software Development team, you will:

• Ensure product quality relied on by more than a million pet parents worldwide
• Co-manage the development lifecycle from a quality assurance (QA) perspective
• Monitor, develop, and extend web automated tests (functional, performance, security)
• Perform manual tests in our webshop and web applications
• Collaborate with agile development team to improve our products and apps based customer feedback and your own ideas
• Participate in the development of new products and features, from initial product definition to final release
• Coordinate QA projects and work with interdisciplinary teams (e-commerce, internal tooling, web development team)
• Plan and improve our testing process
• Bring in your fresh ideas to make Tractive better - you’ll never hear the phrase “...because that’s how we’ve always done things”
• Continuously grow personally and professionally, take ownership of areas that show your potential, and attend workshops which help you get to the next level

Your profile

Key requirements:

• Experience in software testing or software development, preferably web
• Experience in UI test automation frameworks, especially Playwright and Testcafe
• Experience in high-level programming languages, especially Javascript and Typescript
• Experience in high-level programming languages and agile development processes (e.g. Scrum, Kanban)
• Very good English skills

Salary range

Just so you know what to expect: For this position, we offer a competitive overpayment based on qualification and experience. Annual gross salary starts at € 42,000 full-time. At Tractive, that means a 4-day work week with a 3-day weekend. If you bring relevant experience in many of the fields of responsibility, the salary will be considerably higher.
