Your territory
As part of our Technical Support team, you will:
Be the driving force behind real-time monitoring and optimization of our pet tracking devices in the field, helping to keep thousands of pets safe every day
Connect the dots between hardware, firmware and code to truly understand how our trackers work end to end and turn that knowledge into meaningful insights from the data
Monitor how new firmware versions perform in the field by looking at metrics, logs and firmware tickets and translate your findings into clear improvements
Dive deep into technical issues and device errors, conduct thorough analyses and provide innovative solutions
Monitor relevant KPIs and overall performance of our product in the field, ensuring we're always exceeding our customer's expectations
Turn complex data into simple stories and actionable recommendations for our Product, Firmware and Customer Experience teams
Partner with teams across Tractive, responding to internal requests and enabling smooth cross-team collaboration on our biggest technical challenges
Work hand in hand with the Monitoring and Firmware teams to continuously optimize firmware performance and product reliability

Your profile
Key requirements:
Very good understanding of electronics and hardware products, ideally with experience working on small devices such as trackers or other embedded systems
Fundamental understanding of how firmware and software are developed and interact with hardware
Programming skills are a strong advantage, especially low-level or embedded programming on microcontrollers
Analytical mindset with the ability and motivation to build and continuously improve monitoring systems
Ideally, professional or project experience in relevant fields (e.g. cellular, GPS)
A technical education such as electronics, electrical engineering, mechatronics or a related field is a strong plus
Very good English skills
Valid Austrian work permit
