Pasching, June 16th, 2025 – Yes Insurance, an Ireland-based leader in pet insurance, has acquired the UK-based insurance business of Austrian pet tech company Tractive. The business, operating under Tractive Pet UK Ltd, will now be fully owned and operated by Yes Insurance. The deal has received regulatory approval from the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

This move marks a new chapter for existing Tractive insurance customers, who can expect a seamless transition. Policies remain unchanged, and the underwriting partner stays the same. The only immediate difference for customers will be the refreshed corporate design of Yes Insurance. The existing Tractive Pet UK team around Frank Speight and Gavin Sewell will continue to lead operations from the UK, ensuring continuity and stability.

A strategic decision for long-term impact

Founded in Austria, Tractive is the global leader in GPS tracking and health monitoring for pets. After launching comprehensive pet insurance in the UK, Tractive chose to refocus on its core strength as a fast-scaling tech innovator to stay aligned with its mission.

Purchase price remains undisclosed

The parties have agreed to not disclose details of the transaction. All existing Tractive Pet UK customers have already been informed about the transition and what it means for their policies and service.
