Internship Technical Support

Your territory

As part of our Technical Support team, you will:

• Explore and test our GPS trackers and tools, making sure everything works smoothly for pet parents worldwide

• Perform initial analysis of returned trackers, document your findings, and distribute them within the team for further investigation

• Create and analyse results of internal test setups that help us reproduce issues and validate improvements

• Support tracker troubleshooting by running tests, analyzing logs, and working closely with experienced colleagues

• Collaborate with teams like Hardware, Firmware, Backend, Product, and Customer Experience to turn technical insights into real improvements for our users

• Document your learnings and contribute to internal knowledge bases so the whole team can benefit

• Bring in your fresh ideas to make Tractive better - you’ll never hear the phrase “...because that’s how we’ve always done things”

• Continuously grow personally and professionally, take ownership of areas that show your potential, and attend workshops which help you get to the next level

Your profile

Key requirements:

• Strong interest in both software and hardware

• Good technical understanding and curiosity about how devices work end to end

• Passion for technology and a strong drive to keep learning

• Technical education - minimum HTL or similar technical school graduation, or ongoing technical studies at a university/FH

• Very good English skills

• Valid Austrian work permit or current enrolment at an Austrian university/FH
