Your territory

As part of our QA team, you will:

  • Ensure product quality relied on by more than a million pet parents worldwide
  • Be actively involved throughout the entire development lifecycle from a QA perspective (shift-left approach)
  • Test cutting-edge embedded systems and firmware using communication technologies such as LTE, 3G, WiFi, BLE, LoRa, and LoRaWAN
  • Identify, report, and track firmware defects to resolution
  • Contribute to our firmware automation framework utilizing cutting-edge technologies and industry-leading standards
  • Collaborate with agile development teams to improve our firmware solutions based on feedback and your own ideas.
  • Plan and enhance our testing processes to ensure exceptional quality
  • Participate in interdisciplinary projects with cross-functional teams, making impactful contributions
  • Bring in your fresh ideas to make Tractive better - you’ll never hear the phrase “...because that’s how we’ve always done things”
  • Continuously grow personally and professionally, take ownership of areas that show your potential, and attend workshops which help you get to the next level

Your profile

Key requirements:

  • Experience in QA or development for embedded systems/firmware
  • Hands-on expertise with communication technologies (e.g., LTE, 3G, WiFi, BLE, LoRa)
  • Experience working in Agile development processes (e.g., Scrum)
  • Familiarity with mid-to-large team environments
  • Very good English skills

Salary range

Just so you know what to expect: For this position, we offer a competitive overpayment based on qualification and experience. Annual gross salary starts at € 42.000 full-time. At Tractive, that means a 4-day work week with a 3-day weekend. If you bring relevant experience in many of the fields of responsibility, the salary will be considerably higher.
